HavanaLuz does not have a server. It does not collect, transmit, or share personal information. There is no account, no sign-in, and no analytics. Everything the app remembers — your schedule, subscriptions, reminders, and class progress — lives on your device only.
HavanaLuz ("the app," "we," "our") is an independent fan-made mobile and web application that displays the publicly available weekly class schedule of Havana Club Tel Aviv (Yigal Alon 128) and helps users keep track of which classes they attend. We are not affiliated with Havana Club.
This privacy policy explains exactly what data the app handles, what permissions it asks for, and why.
We collect no personal information. The app does not have user accounts, login flow, email collection, or any identifier that ties data to a specific person. We never see your data.
The following information is stored locally on your device using the Hive embedded database (on web, this is backed by your browser's IndexedDB). It never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to (e.g. by sharing a screenshot):
If you opt into the "Leave on time" reminder, the app reads your current GPS coordinates at the moment a reminder is being prepared, and uses them to estimate how long it will take you to reach the venue at Yigal Alon 128, Tel Aviv. The coordinates are used on your device, are not stored persistently, and are not sent to us or to any third party. You can disable the feature at any time in the app's settings or through your operating system's location settings.
The app uses your operating system's local notification facility to remind you before class. Notifications are scheduled and shown by your device — we do not push them from a server. On the Progressive Web App build (web version), notifications are shown by your browser while the app is open.
The app reads the publicly available weekly class schedule from havanaclub.co.il over standard HTTPS. The request contains no personal data — only the resource URL. We do not operate any backend that the app talks to.

You can revoke any of these permissions at any time from your device's system settings.

The app reads the publicly available class schedule from havanaclub.co.il. We do not send personal data to that website beyond what every web browser sends on any request (a User-Agent header). See their site for their own policies.
When you tap "Open navigation," the app opens Waze (or your default maps app) with the venue's coordinates. We do not send anything to Waze on your behalf — your device launches the app you chose.
The web (PWA) version of HavanaLuz is hosted on Netlify. Netlify automatically records standard request logs (IP, user-agent, requested path) for hosting operations. We do not access or use those logs. See Netlify's privacy policy.
The Android app is distributed via the Google Play Store and the iOS app, if/when published, via the Apple App Store. Both stores collect data on installs/downloads under their own policies. See Google's privacy policy and Apple's privacy policy.
HavanaLuz does not integrate any analytics SDK (no Firebase Analytics, no Google Analytics, no Sentry, no Crashlytics, no AppsFlyer, no Facebook SDK).
Because we do not hold any of your data, there is nothing to request, export, or delete from us. You have full control over all data on your device:
HavanaLuz is intended for general audiences interested in attending dance classes. It is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any data from children (or from anyone — see above).
HavanaLuz does not transfer data internationally because it does not transmit data at all. The hosting of the web version on Netlify (whose infrastructure is global) involves standard request routing, but no application data is uploaded.
We may update this policy from time to time, for example if the app gains new features that touch personal data. The current version is always available at this URL, and the "Last Updated" date above will reflect the most recent change.
